About

This year, 2017, I felt God calling me to share His word through social media (Facebook, in particular, because that is pretty much the only social media I use).  So, I am trying to do a daily scripture with some of my comments.  I hope this can be a blessing to others and that God will speak through me.  I don’t have all the answers, though, so please join the discussion. How does the scripture speak to you?  It is my prayer that all who visit my site will have a close intimate relationship with Jesus Christ, to follow Him and live for Him.

Ephesians 1:15-21 (NKJV)

“Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers: that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.”

  1. Dave,
You said QUOTE: “I hope this can be a blessing to others and that God will speak through me. ”

Why don’t you quote God? Why quote only Paul?
Here you write one paragraph, and quote one long paragraph from Paul- and that is all!
    Why?
Why not quote Jesus, the Word of God made flesh, and Word of God through Moses and the Prophets?

    Matthew 24:35, Matthew 5:17-20
